I grew up in the small town of Oil City, Pennsylvania. I was always an artistic kid, constantly doodling on my class notes/homework.
My art took a lot of inspiration from the shows and games I played when I was a kid. Whether I was creating Scooby-Doo comics when I was 7, drawing the monsters that were featured on Yu-Gi-Oh cards at 8.
Playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater on the PS2 with my sister (age 9) introduced to the world of skateboarding that would come to influence me later on in my life. It introduced me to new music, the clothing styles that the skaters would wear, as well as the artwork that were featured on all the skateboard decks. That was my first time wondering what it would be like to be an artist and to create a skateboard deck that someone one day would ride and perform tricks on.
From that I discovered the artwork of Jim Phillips, the artist behind the iconic "Screaming Hand" logo of Santa Cruz Skateboards and Ed Roth with his "Rat Fink" character art. In High School I discovered the artwork of Dan Mumford, specifically his work that he did for the band The Black Dahlia Murder. A kid in my 10th grade art class would wear the band's t-shirts and the artwork was like nothing I have ever seen so I would draw in that line style he had and would incorporate that with a lot of my stuff throughout high school and college.

I started college at the Oakbridge Academy of Arts, but 2 weeks after the fact they closed down. So I stumbled my way into going the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.

I don't have a particular style or medium of art that I focus on. It's more-so just what inspires me at the moment and that influences my creativity and style. One moment I will be working on a skateboard deck design, the next I'm working on a logo design for a start-up company. I have a go with the flow attitude when it comes to design.

I have a broad range of experience that lets me take on new projects. I learn everything I can from a project or job and I take that knowledge and start something new. I'm not the type to do one thing for forever, I like to change it up otherwise life would be boring and who wants that?
